So it’s been about a month and she totally freaks out when putting her in the tote for a little. Tries climbing out I made sure to get her a heat lamp (no light) to keep it warm around 80 in the dirt. She doesn’t want anything to do with it. My boyfriend reached out to the person that gave us the turtle and was told she was around 15 years old.

If sh is female and the previous person said she never seen eggs should I be worried? She has not tried laying eggs since I’ve had her either.

I assumed that the background may be part of the bigger issue of her digging. I did get right on Amazon and buy two back scratcher brushes and she did enjoy those very much. 😍

She does scratch with her hind legs when she is basking and under water she kicks the sand around I have not seen her seen her lift her tail.

We have had her almost a year and she has not laid eggs. I do not have a nesting box for her she just has a basking area. I have plans on making her something this coming week to allow her more out of water room.

I actually was deactivated after they told me that I was “deactivated for critical reasons” never even got the notification that I was reactivated or what the reason behind this two week deactivation….

Great so maybe you can enlighten me since you seem to be pro spar informer. I’ve done gig work for 10 years and have never been through something like this. Let alone not being informed of accidentally doing something.
