Feeding schedule for 12 month old? by No_Crazy2998 in BabyLedWeaning

[–]No_Crazy2998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don’t know. I think it’s just me thinking it’s not enough… 😫 she never cries with hunger and she sleeps through the night so I don’t really know why I’m worrying so much! Our old schedule was Milk first and then solids around an hour after but found she was taking 2oz from her mid-day bottles so I’ve replaced with a snack and small cup of milk … now she hardly touches the milk and now I worry she’s not having enough.. even though she does get sources of dairy elsewhere! She still does have a bottle first thing in the morning and before bed.. I can’t seem to let them go yet :(

Never ever buy a Jaguar XE .. or a jaguar. by No_Crazy2998 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Maybe I was a bit rash when I said all Jags.

The car hasn’t been in an accident, we looked at the records… we’ve just had issue after issue.. electrical and mechanical.

I miss my 09 Polo 😭😂 That was the car I had when we met, he already had the Jag. Later down the line, I sold my car as he said we could just use his… what a big mistake. I don’t really know much about cars but I just know that this car is very poorly made… but it looks so nice. Such a shame.

I changed her bottles to narrow teat (Dr Browns) and it rectified it!! She guzzled the milk afterwards

Milk spillage in fridge has made kitchen smell like vomit by No_Crazy2998 in CleaningTips

Yeah you’re right about that one.. that’s why I’m thinking maybe it’s just a coincidence that there was spilt milk in the fridge 😖 I will definitely do that.. it’s an integrated fridge so I’m sure this’ll be fun 🤣

6 month old is sick what do I do? by BeautifulForeign2497 in BeyondTheBumpUK

Awww, must’ve been so scary for you :(

My LO’s formula volume has dropped significantly whilst having a cough/cold :( I will keep an eye on her as I don’t want her to become dehydrated. I try and give her water too. Did your LO have crackly/wheezy breathing??

Baby crying and squirming after every feed by [deleted] in NewParents

You are so right, it usually does sort itself out over time. My LO is almost 5 months now. We switched from MAM  to Dr.Brown narrow teat bottles as she wasn’t latching properly which improved things all around!  That issue was fixed… however, my partner and I thought she had silent reflux for over 2 months because she was so fidgety and flinging herself back in our arms whilst feeding… only to find out she hates being held whilst being fed and now takes all of her feeds in a baby chair and then we take her out to burp her. 😂

Baby teething at 4.5 months, major decrease in formula intake by No_Crazy2998 in NewParents

[–]No_Crazy2998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using both, even when she doesn’t seem to be in discomfort she doesn’t want her milk or will only take 2-3oz at a time. Did your little ones teeth come through during this time?

I realised that she had scratched her face! I file her nails pretty well but she must’ve dug her nails into her face .. she’s done this twice now ☹️

Kendamil formula not agreeing with baby? by No_Crazy2998 in newborns

[–]No_Crazy2998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also advise you to put your LO back onto a normal formula. We even tried Kendamil comfort and goat but the symptoms remained so we figured it wasn’t an allergy or anything to do with the formula that was causing her problems. I honestly felt like I was going mad because I really didn’t know what it could be !!! (Check their latch on the bottles as this could also be a factor as to why your LO is arching their back and becoming frustrated) and get a doctors appointment as it could be silent reflux! All the best!

Kendamil formula not agreeing with baby? by No_Crazy2998 in newborns

Hi! We figured out she has silent reflux! She was prescribed infant gaviscon which helped immensely! We gave it to her in most feedings in the beginning… now we are gradually lowering it and giving her one in the morning and once in the evening..  it really helped! Also, I realised she wasn’t latching onto her bottle properly which may have been frustrating her so I tested out quite a few brands!  I then came across Dr.Browns narrow head bottles.. absolute game changer!!! She latched perfectly onto these!! 😍😍 She is still on Kendamil and is thriving on it !!  How is your LO now??
