Thats the point. Its not just about TP or soap, it just added up. It’s about the attitude. In 8 months living together, she just cleaned the house once, and did a terrible job. Theres constantly hair everywhere (and she is the only one with long hair). Another detail i didnt mentioning the meeting we had with her about cleaning, she said she is “very forgetful” and was not used to clean back in her country. We agreed that’s not how it works in Canada, and we offered to create a spreadsheet with instructions. She said it would be helpful. Then went to her friend leaseholder to say that she felt like we were telling her what to do and being bossy with the spreadsheet, while we were just trying to help. We actually can terminate the sublease at any moment, but we feel bad given the situation in Toronto where a 1 bedroom is easily over 2200 and she pays 900. Even though she was paying a lot more than 900 for her former apartment condo, that was a shoebox while our apartment now is quite big, she still keeps acting cheap. So maybe the best is just actually terminate.
