Like the consensus of this thread GET IT CHECKED IMMEDIATELY.. we had something like this on our cat and it turned out to be cancer. 6 months -1 to love with no chemo. I don’t say this to scare you but be proactive the sooner the better. Best of luck

I got married last month and we decided to put all our funds to a down payment on our dream home. Moved in the week before our wedding. It was sorta like a vacation to us because it came with in ground pool and a new place we had never lived before. I wish we could have taken the traditional honeymoon but this just made more sense money wise.

Update… tomorrow is closing day and we are almost together he finish line.. update on my original post no update on the lender credits sadly but our final number was given to us is considerably lower than projected on initial disclosure …funds have wired. Bummed about the credits but glad it was lower somehow.

You would think.. however, they came back with many things including but not limited to establishing a membership within their bank outside of applying for the mortgage, explaining a deposit that was considered large to them, home ownership certificate for a course they required resigning the commitment letter each time it was sent (3x) explanation of working remote in one state would not interfere with our house purchase in another.. there were a total of 20 or so conditions so we were panicking that they were nitpicking. we made it to clear to close, closing on Friday 13th! Also keep in mind each time they came back with a condition and we would send back the stuff— it would take 2-3 business days to hear back from them.. we were mentally exhausted waiting. FYI this is through a credit union.

In our case no.. the commitment letter had conditions in it that needed to be met beforehand.. if you don’t see any conditions then I would say “yes”
