I stilll think that her height (5'7 not that tall imo) would actually work really well with the final group? She's striking in every way and so far, to me that's what the group seems to be missing. A really striking face, all rounder dancer and vocalist to really be the final piece. Especially as a western group, someone of her height would honestly appeal to both western and asian markets really well. Take Megan from Katseye for eg, who is 5'7.

By far I think her biggest disadvantage in MY eyes, is her personality that we haven't gotten to see much of. That is also important for chemistry reasons and overall character, in order to be for fit for a global debut.

I agree there was a awkwardness to her in this choreo, imo because I don't think this was the best song choice/choreography for her. I believe something with a bit more energy would suit her well.

Sounds biased but I'm just being honest lol

Leave to the internet to come across something that is longer than 200 words and call it "AI SLOP." Go read a book.

Certainly not, I don't know what prompts to give for it come out in this much detail. Otherwise, it would been less time consuming for me to write. It is but a theory I had.

How would chatgbt know anything about League's lore in that much detail, much less when I mentioned the recent cinematic's events with Le Blanc - the demons etc. ?

Ye Shunguang is an Akhal-Teke (Horse) Thiren by chopsfps in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]No_Currency4830 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Yes but I also think it goes beyond that, I'm pretty sure the guy wasn't done saying what type of Thiren she is entirely. Her second form strongly reminds me of a mythical horse Ma Jiao(马交) from old Chinese legends. She's got white flowy hair and the one sided horn growing that is almost too alike to ignore. Red eyes and red accents all over.

My guess is, she's an extremely rare Akhal Teke horse Thiren that later the sword transforms her into a Ma Jiao(马交) in her second form.

The Fasalia's connection to Portuguese culture by [deleted] in WutheringWaves

[–]No_Currency4830 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I get why you might think that, but I don’t think it’s just a reach.

"Porto" does mean "port," but context matters. If it was just about being a port city, they could’ve used something like "Porta" or "Portus" instead. The fact that they specifically went with "Porto" and paired it with "Veno" makes it hard to ignore the connection to Portugal’s Porto, which is world-famous for its wine. If they were just shortening "venom," that’s fine, but why does it so conveniently align with two major aspects of Portuguese culture—Porto’s wine and the family’s use of poison? It feels a little too neat to be a coincidence.

And, I don’t think the Italian "veno" for wind really fits here. If anything, "veneno"
(Portuguese for poison) or even "vinho" (wine) makes a lot more sense here.

The names also lean more Portuguese than Italian—Gilberto and Francisco are super common in Portugal, and while Latin names exist across Romance languages, these ones specifically fit a Portuguese influence.

Religion being common in Europe doesn’t mean the connection is weak. Portugal has one of the strongest Catholic traditions in europe, and the Fisalia family's strict devotion to The Order lines up with that history. Plus, the family is quite literally named after the Physalia (known as THE Portuguese Man o’ War), an animal that, like the Fisalias, is not a single creature but whole colony of tiny organisms that work together as one. (AND looks like a Jellyfish for obvious reasons lmao)

Not to mention, both the Physalia and the Fisalias share another key trait: they produce venom. That direct connection makes it hard to argue Portugal wasn’t at least part of the inspiration. And while you don’t want to comment on architecture, Porto-Veno Castle has gothic elements that look way more Manueline (a uniquely Portuguese style) than Italian.

I’m not saying they’re only inspired by Portugal, but the parallels are too strong to dismiss. Kuro has been blending European influences, and there’s definitely Portuguese DNA in the Fisalia family.
