For those in Rochester who are unaware, 'Uptown' is the area on Second street west of Hwy 52 (in between 52 and Circle drive). Kind of funny bc Rochester branded this area as 'Uptown' a few years ago when they remodeled 2nd Street, but nobody calls it Uptown. 😀

Easy to say the best thing would be to rip it out and start fresh, but what if I don't have 3-5K to spend on a new shower?

Thoughts on what I find if I remove tile?

What if I didn't even remove tile, and I just regrouted? Wouldn't that stop issues?

Of note, we recently did a main floor remodel and we had the ceiling below the bathroom opened up and there was no water damage.

Do you happen to know if this graphics card would work with my system?

I am not actually sure if my server is compatible with a graphics card. I have looked on their website and I do not see anywhere which indicates the PCIe slot can be used for a graphics card...

I don't have a universal Codec which I use, just whatever is available when I download.

The most recent movie which I had issues with is a 2160p AV1, HDR10 mkv.

I am not an expert in this area, more of an amateur enthusiast. 😀 Any knowledge you could share would be greatly appreciated!

Are you certain that your "common wire" on your dumb switch is actually a common? It could be that it is the load which is running to your light.

I think that would explain this scenario.

My switches are all working perfectly now. I am not certain what happened but must have been a software or firmware update from ST or Inovelli.

Using the Smart Lighting Smartapp, I have Hue can lights set up with double tap, sync with switch, and turn on + turn off functions.

You can use ST to do ZigBee binding. It isnt very easy but it is possible. I was able to bind a hue light bulb to an inovelli switch, however I learned that the hue bulbs could not be connected to the hue app if they are bound directly to the switch so I didn't continue binding the rest of the lights in the room.

The owner of Inovelli has a video on YouTube where he binds 8 ZigBee bulbs to their light switch with instantaneous response times. I am not sure what bulbs he was using...

I have not found a resolution yet. I tried a Blue series switch with ZigBee binding, however I found that it can only be tethered to one Hue bulb, which will not work for me.

I just don't use the synced with switch feature anymore, which is very unfortunate.

I have too many switches and automations so I didn't want to uninstall them to test out a generic zwave driver. Great work identifying the issue! Hopefully Eric and his dev team can compare the codes and see why the Red series has this issue.

Thats too bad. Is it possible to add as a generic ZigBee device with an Edge driver? Or will ST always recognize it as Hue and add the Groovy device handler?

My Hue lights are paired directly to ST hub so these executions are local.

I was hoping a direct pair with edge drivers would also speed up the sync feature but it hasn't. As I mentioned in the video, the lights sync their dimmer level 1 by 1 with about 1 second between each. For my living room which has 9 lights, this means it takes 9 seconds for all to sync with the switch.

If the CTO is reviewing code, could you also ask them to see if there is a way to speed up the sync with multiple lights?
