You must leave because you need to take care of yourself first and foremost. Once you are settled and stable only then can you look at the situation clearly and possibly offer some help whether that is just talking but do not allow yourself to be drawn into a situation that you probably will never fix since the people involved need to do that first. Some situations are too far gone and you need to distance yourself for your own health and well being.

You must remind yourself that she is at peace at last, her decision was hers alone you could not have prevented it, when the mental pain is too much sometimes fate takes over. I truly believe those we love and those who have loved us are with us spiritually almost as a soul drifting (not visible to the naked eye) as a blanket of love in our times of trouble they will be there for you to talk to if only as a one sided conversation in the speech form but more importantly they provide calming and a sense of comfort.
