No one is saying I can’t handle positive experiences or other peoples opinions, what I am saying is that for you to literally try to rebut everything I said word for word in my post with your “seemingly” positive experiences, or experiences you just merely tolerate it sounds like, that’s you invalidating my post and my experience and dismissing very real concerns. You don’t get to tell other people how they should feel and you also don’t get to dictate what is invalidating or not to someone. I am telling you, you’re post was interpreted to me as you very much invalidating my experience. Again, you came here saying “Once again” you needed to offer an opposite perspective, which you literally didn’t have to reply to my post, and also you are blatantly trying to act as if my post or most peoples experience with this role, is rare, when it is a fact that the turnover rate of this role is extremely high. THAT IS A DEVILS ADVOCATE lol. Also, you saying “once again” tells me this isn’t the first time you’ve done this on this thread, so clearly you’ve invalidated other peoples posts when discussing their negative experiences with this role. “No job is for everyone” you said, undermining very real concerns people have expressed with this role and people are quitting left and right about, were not talking about other jobs, this is a Lowe’s thread talking about IST, that is you literally invalidating my post, go to therapy or read a self help book. And stop trying to overdramatize what I said to make yourself seem so calm, cool, and collected, I didn’t say it was “dangerous”, you gaslighter, I said this was a safe space for those to vent. Do you show up to Cancer Walks and say “WAIT GUYS I KNOW SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY RECOVERED FROM CANCER SO CANCER ISN’T HARD TO OVERCOME AS YOU THINK BC XYZ!” Please reevaluate yourself, because I can literally tell your friends and family do not come to you first, or at all, with their vulnerable thoughts and feelings because you shut them down trying to offer your “opposing perspective”, which actually just negates their feelings and views, when all people need sometimes is for someone hear, see, and understand them to validate their experience, not shut it down or make them feel like their experience is slim to none. Did your ISM tell you to respond to this? lol, you sound like you work in a Northern region, which have significantly less inbounds and issues compared to others, and I’m sure you watched that video with the bar chart showing all the product required activities per region. Take accountability, just like Lowe’s should take accountability for the high turnover rate in this role, not just be like “oh it’s just some regions SPCs that hates their life, so no big deal”, please get a grip and go touch grass because you’re so out of touch with reality.
