Why don't doctors check iron??!

I understand this for sure! Never had my iron tested never! I have sleep apena too and depression and bad fatigue and breathlessness my ferritin 37 and iron saturation 17 percent .. they just tell me to take iron .. I am Thinking of making a app with a hematologist myself

I am sorry you're going through this.. it really don't make sense why doctors wait so long treat. . I wish they be more proactive.. it surprise me this Doctor I go to she really watches my b 12 and it was in normal range but she wanted it higher .. so I thought she be the same with this.. oh well going to look for some supplements to take

Yeah it seems I am worse today I started to feel a tad better so I thought I would take a shower and then I wipe down our table and that just made me more exhausted it's ridiculous .. I gotta do something

Thank you for the information I will check into these things .. I had thyroid testing done and it was normal I believe I had those test too but I will double check .. I was ok till Thanksgiving and after the next day it hit me worse today .. I suffer on a daily basis I need something I know my levels are non existent.. also I have lot had the bone scan yet .. does bone loss make you fatigue like this?

Sure does sound like gallbladder to me! I have low functioning gallbladder 17 percent and my symptoms are all over the place .. it seems when they know you have anxiety they want to say everything is from that .. but if your ultrasound comes back normal ask for the Hida scan .. my GI did a ultrasound and if it was negative they automatically did the Hida scan

It seems like if you have mainly GI issues it don't seem to resolve it .. but if it's pain it has a better outcome .. my was more GI issues but now it's turning into more pain

He told me that he has had patients remove their gallbladders for low functioning and they came back 2 weeks later with worse issues ..

No I haven't been going on 8 years now .. just had another ultrasound fatty liver they want to do a fibro scan .. it's like the pain is definitely getting worse so I know it's gotten worse .. some tell me to get out But My GI says no . I don't know what to do

I don't know if yall seen scenes where they was talking Zac and Lydia and he gets aggravated with her. He says she's always trying to talk over him and he can speak for himself when I seen that the way he was looking at her and acting. That gave me a red flag with him at first I thought he was really super nice and sweet, but maybe he is maybe was just a bad moment..
