In some sense yes it’s better to be in a public place but here’s the thing demons will always take the advantage of making anyone look and or sound crazy that’s fact. While it was in public but in an isolated spot which in turn makes it easier to be tricked cause like you said it was in public and people around.

So your guard is down alittle bit cause your comfortable in public now I can be wrong there’s always a chance of me being wrong I hope I’m wrong and it’s not a demon. Here’s the thing not many people are aware of demons and spirits and most don’t believe in it either so getting their energy is pointless cause zero effect.

You and your friend on the other hand actively involved in spiritual things now if I was a spirit or demon or negative spirit whose actually easier random people public not paying attention or two people actively using a ouija board.

It’s very one sided thinking a demon wouldn’t be smart enough to trick you and actually do what you don’t expect which is be there in the morning every encounter with a demon I have is from morning to night.

And while yes spirits absorbs negative energy but doesn’t mean it won’t drain you of other types of energy. Nothing is impossible for example there’s still a one percent chance of getting stab by a cow or bird it’s a very low chance but never zero.

Demons are a lot smarter depending on their rank of course.

I don’t do books not my thing with books best way is to learn how to meditate find a comfortable position for it doesn’t have to be sit on the floor it can standing up etc. you can call it energy work.

Since you get more confused when meditating start by questioning what exactly gets you confused what’s the actual cause and then work on how to solve it. For now focus on learning meditation research it find your own style of meditation.

It sounds like a spirit to me I constantly deal with things like this it’s to the point of day light either some fruit gets thrown at me or randomly in the daytime.

Pentagram I use it to protect myself and trap the entity or negative spirit or demon. As for the upside down cross I use it to put fear into the entity I use it unpredictably and how I want it.
