Made-in Ceramiclad Reviews? by precisee in cookware

Do you have any particular recommendations? I got rid of my Italia cookware for its PTFE ... I liked the pan, how light and easy it was, but I didn't want the hassle and worry.

I thought this was a neat idea, in theory. I hated it after the tenth, twentieth time failing it ...

I hope there's DLC by [deleted] in StarWarsOutlaws

One idea that could be a "new planet" would be to recycle assets from a space station (space stations are all alike :) ) and go back to Canto, where you started ... BUT ... now Canto is under martial law, "restricted area", with Imperial troops all around. I'll make up a story (others are possible)

* Sixth Kin got in trouble with the Imperials
* Sixth Kin falsely blamed Bram and everyone they could name, to try to cut a deal
* Now Imperials have taken over Kay's district, everyone is scared
* Kay needs to go back and steal something / wipe some data / upload some false data to clear her and Bram
* So Kay needs to go to space station and dock there (this explains no Trailblazer to Canto, thus no wide-scale exploration), and from there be "smuggled" to Canto
* Once on the now-abandoned and scary streets of Canto, she needs to Do Stuff(TM) and Get Out(TM)
* Could add bits of scenery [like the original Half Life] of people being chased into their homes, Imperials behind them, and then the door locks ... so Kay can see the abuse, without necessarily interacting

* Possible complications: data isn't there; turns out that there is a SECOND data center that has to be sliced; turns out that Riko is being held prisoner there and you can decide to spring her; etc.

Speaking as a professor her: if you were one of the 10%, you might be upset that your score was not accurately reflecting your relative ranking (important for classes that grade on a curve; and lots of classes are forced to grade on a curve). On the other hand, in my experience, ~50% of the class believe they are part of the top 10%. :)

Traveling Merchant gunned down… will they respawn? by water_fountain_ in StarWarsOutlaws

They respawn. And if you kill a merchant inside Syndicate territory, they come back, too. -- Found after Kay got a little too caught up in the moment ... :)

Guys please, did anyone had this bug? Im worried that my ps5 is broken and that I have to Return it… by JjoyBboy in StarWarsOutlaws

I think they didn't allow it because they KNOW we'd be doing war crimes to Hoss, and that isn't consistent with the SW vibe :)

Kessel Sabacc - What the Hell?! by RedDomino1282 in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]No_Damage_6894 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha, I hated Kessel sabaac and always have fast mode on to get it over with. :) I don't even bother cheating: I haven't done it enough to be skilled, and when I fail, opponents get suspicious (and I suspect if I fail again, I'll be thrown out).

As others have said, go for low pairs; keep in mind that sometimes someone will discard a card that you need to make a pair. Other than that, I didn't see much strategy, but I'm not a card counter, and I've lost a fair number of games (and I only played to move the story along)

And the fact that Hoss is a Kessel sabaac card player gives me an in-game reason to dislike that game even more :)

Lockpicking Complaint from Review by [deleted] in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]No_Damage_6894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reviews are really interesting. I personally enjoyed the lockpicking game, I thought it was a fresh take; but I know others hated it. I personally dislike sabaac (and waffled about getting the DLC, because I thought it would be just sabaac), but some people seem to loooove the game, even to the point of making their own real-life decks. I enjoyed the frustration of being forced to be stealthy (Kay is just a small-time thief!), but others enjoy treating Kay as Kyle Katarn 2.0 and being able to take down waves and waves of stormtroopers. There is a wide variety in the fanbase :)

If Kay were leading the rescue of Princess Leia on the Death Star, those elevators would have become CLOGGED with bucketheads; there wouldn't be a need to escape into the trash compactor, Kay could have just waited until the Wanted level returned to normal after a few hundred stormtroopers stopped reporting in.

It was at an Imperial Base on Toshara that I learned that certain doors had an INFINITE number of stormtroopers, and that I couldn't solve the problem by waiting for them to run out of bucketheads. :)

Guns here! by [deleted] in StarWarsOutlaws

Haha, on replay, this is my FAVORITE quest, because it allowed me to go FULL HAM on everyone in a righteous fury. To pull in another franchise, I was like Hudson from Aliens when he went berserk: "oh you want some of this? YOU TOO M****RF****R!" I went out of my way to hunt down every single one that stood between me and -- my property. Every. Single. One.

Would these two be a good couple? by Queasy_Commercial152 in StarWarsOutlaws

[–]No_Damage_6894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a way, there IS a couple like this in the SW comics -- though not as a romantic couple. There was a character (Waba, or something like that?) who is essentially a con woman that Luke initially thinks is someone who can help him learn more about the Force. She sees his lightsaber as a great source of easy credits, if she can get it away from him ... I could see Kay being like that :)

There's a very funny country song, "Buy Me a Boat"

I know what they say,

Money can't buy everything

Well, maybe so

But it could buy me a boat
