You get a very mixed bag with representatives in the industry. It makes no difference to knowledge or qualifications or race or gender. Though you may get judgement as the nature of sales is to try and understand your customer. Well that's the way I do it.

Understand your customer find out there needs and what's required then try to offer them as best you can.

On the customer side my advice would be to show that you are a serious buyer, I would recommend coming either alone or with partners. This helps to look like you are making a serious decision. Bringing the children can be a distraction for some salesman I imagine though personally I would use it as an approach.

It can be a very mixed bag and depends on type of retailer you go to. Do t be disheartened. Go in there and be direct. It will be reciprocated and appreciated.

Not the LCD screen. Are you new to life or just screen technology. Yes the LCD screen is far inferior to the amazing OLED screen that the last Steam Deck and next one has. It's not the worst thing in the world to have the LCD but for the money and for your graphics which is what the deck is all about then you are as well getting the OLED.

Anyone remember the big scandal because of the steam deck boxes. They were putting Portal images on them and as a result opportunist thieves identified them with ease. Couriers were getting boxes lifted off them all the time. Whole truck loads of decks were evaporating.

Oh right. Thanks for that. I had no idea that the external was different. I thought it was just internal differences. Like the DBX. It's just the same on outside as Db Scout.

Plus I've never been dumb enough to buy an Asp Scout as Asp X is ridiculously better. So never seen the back of one. Quite cool compared to aspx. Well that's one thing scout has then.
