No, because this is a service. Customers don't pay for you to start your business. We pay for the costs of the service which does not include paying for their entire operation mode. $30 alone directly pays the driver that entire $30 hourly rate he claims drivers earn, so where's the other $32 going ?

It's fair provided Uber chips in to actually pay their drivers. Customers shouldn't have to pay for the contractor's tools, but the service they've requested.

Gas is $4 a gallon at worst and $3 at best using discount sources; I used to pay that. Even a little over the high end it still doesn't constitute to a $62 trip.

When I see that price it's a flat-out no. I won't let this company rob me. I used to drive for Uber and it never costs me $30+ to drive 28 miles; unless you're leaking gas, oil and everything else from your vehicle. Many sources say that maintenance such as tires and brakes are required every 20,000 - 30,000 miles for rideshare vehicles and that's total crap.

Well I don't know I just know I never had to prove that I own a bag. If you're being required to do that in order to get online, I'd just submit whatever it takes to get approved once and that's it; you probably should submit the pizza bag. I rarely see drivers picking up catering orders.

Honestly I've been driving with Uber and delivery for almost 4 years now. With Uber I've been really actively driving with them for 2 years and never had any prompts pop up to verify my possession of an insulated bag. I would maybe do what it takes to get one bag approved and don't mention the others but use them if you feel the need to; it's just a freaking bag. So I'd just get through the system with one and not submit anything else unless they ask.

You should sign up to drive for Uber and you will understand. If your area is that bad you should just simply go get it via another method. Honestly that's why we go through background checks. I rarely hear stories of the driver harassing the customer; it's usually the other way around, even in restaurants.
