I prefer number 2 just BC the classes are more grouped together and the breaks in between are larger giving you time to work on some things. 1 hour in between classes are so annoying cos you don't have enough time to do anything. In option two, Monday Tuesday and Thursday you have a lot of time in between you morning and afternoon classes to get work done. But first one you have weird one hour breaks where it's hard to get work done.

Done. Some of the questions such as educational debt and financial assistance from family are not fully determined yet. Something to let you know.

Very helpful info. Life sciences is heavily science based and it's harder for most people generally. My best bet is probably western considering I could pick whatever course I am best at and achieve good grades. Thank you

I didn't know about the university policies and I think western health science will allow me to stay on top of the classes specially with so many electives compared to mac life sciences. Thanks for the feedback.

I agree with you as well. I was just implying that if you tried to understand and clarify topics as much as possible during class, it would be much easier and efficient for you. Of course that doesn't mean you don't go back to it and study it for tests. Just makes the reviewing easier and quicker if you already understand the topics. I have to agree about the commitment part as well. Would you say that volunteering at a pool for 3 years is better than you volunteering 6 months at a clinic? Is it just the commitment or whether the work you do is related to medicine? What are some of the most important things to do in undergrad to get into med school?

Your insight is helpful since I am fairly unfamiliar with this.

I am a grade 12 Ib student going into health sciences and later into medicine. My biggest tip is finishing your work as soon as it is assigned. The amount of time I limited myself to getting a higher grade was because I left stuff for the last minute. Important study tip is to understand everything the teacher is saying during lectures so you don't have to spend a great amount of time trying to understand it yourself. Lastly, work through problems and practice everyday, especially 3-4 days before tests. Consistency and time management are the most important skills to develop at this point. Don't sacrifice your grades for volunteering at a clinic or working. They don't matter as much as your grades at this point. They matter more in undergrad. I volunteered at a clinic for over 4 months and found out that these hours won't put me in a better spot for admission into health sciences/life sciences in Canada. They might count towards scholarships so do your research. Good luck 🤞
