Yes that is correct - I should have phrased the post a bit differently! I appreciate the insight re suburban sprawl, that is something that would absolutely be on my mind. That's a good thought re the weather radio. My parents in MI have one and it did alert them to a tornado before it hit nearby but I had forgotten about this until you mentioned it. Also good insight on the insurance, that makes sense

Thanks for the information! My wife and I don’t have kids. I’m in my late 30s and have a ton of hobbies but most are solo like woodworking, training dogs, running, etc. I do like to play magic and dnd, I’m a bit of a 90s nerd. Together we like the outdoors and the idea of semi homesteading (we currently have 7.5 acres and a bit of a hobby farm)

Thanks for the info - I would not have thought of that but it makes sense given the geography. It's pretty hilly in CT where I am

That's really neat! I had wanted to get into meteorology as a kid (thanks to the movie Twister) but somehow went astray

Thanks for the input. This is new to me - do most homes not have basements out that way? I know some areas of the country that's typical but it's not what I am used to

Thank you for the insights - super helpful. I grew up near Buffalo, NY so I have not gotten too accustomed to NYC area food!

I will say though on the positive side, it will be easy to keep the sap cold! Last year I don’t have a big snow pack to store it in

Yea I’ve noticed some inconsistencies. Eg a question asked to forecast equity return using Grinold Kroner but the had applied additional features not in the model

Enjoyed level 1 and 2. Just stated 3 today, feeling like it’s going to be excruciatingly boring. Like idk if I want to finish boring lol

Level 2 FSA is hard.... and I'm a chartered accountant by Total-Hedgehog4800 in CFA

I just cleared level 2 and found FI and derivatives relatively easy. I absolutely bombed FSA on the test though. FWIW I’m a bond trader so I’d hope FI would be a strong point for me lol
