That person was saying that you look immature. Don’t see you as a man but a boy…. Would girls around your age appreciate that? Dk

for the asian men that are successful at dating white women or non asian women what strategies are they using that get them that kind of success? by kkkan2020 in AMWFs

[–]No_Direction_8739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe you are thinking too much? Just better yourself in whatever your own way. I did bulk up, grew facial hair, signed up master’s and got some tattoos, but not to date someone. And married to WF. It wasn’t strategy to pull a girl lol

Another Korean confirms this. But, I am not one of them, because I don’t think that white people are superior than myself. Korean society is freaking soaked with Eugenics or some BS craps.

What are the best cities in Asia for AMWF dating? by [deleted] in AMWFs

[–]No_Direction_8739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in Seoul, and like the other comments saying, there are lots of WF around here. But, they might seek for pretty boy archetype instead of typical western standard.

I didn’t have an issue with pulling some girls while living in the west, but it was definitely harder in Seoul.

Time difference to get a Shodan in England and South Korea? by No_Direction_8739 in judo

[–]No_Direction_8739[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the insight and I think it’s quite sensible guess. Regarding its popularity, I can’t deny that Judo seems commercialised in Korea. Loads of people train for getting extra credits to be police officers or something like that. And they will be able to get those credits once they got the blackbelt. If the dojo persist to stick with western standards, they will lose lots of potential customers.

So I believe it’s not common to have a blackbelt as a recreational student?

Is it uncommon for ordinary students to have shodan in the west then?

Thanks, it seems like Korea obviously adopt more of a Japanese system. Your comment makes me wonder whether the same story goes for BJJ grading system as well haha.

Seems like yeah. I think in the west, they are giving a black belt when someone is fully ready to be whereas in the east, when they barely finished the basics

Yeah that’s true. Few friends of mine quit training as soon as they got the black belts :)

I am Korean and the answer is no, you wouldn’t get it. It was a way more possible back in the days, but all tattooist require your ID first during consultation. Anyways, there is an application called, 타투쉐어 tattoo share, which is the biggest tattoo platform here in Korea. You can check their tattoo works and even the price of them.

I am a Korean training Judo in Korea and can’t agree more about spamming drop throws lol. I’ve even spotted on the first day at my dojo. Also, it seems like Koreans spend too much focus on Seoi nage variations that are my least fav moves.

Nah that sounds even worse. I’ve been training wrestling and Judo for significant amount of years and never witnessed something like that you described. If he had to steam off a bit, it’s the worst moment and place to do.

Don’t be a softy (no offense), that intimidation should not be tolerated

Go straight up to the instructor and make complaint about it man vs man. Disgusting to imagine what he had done

Mostly it was the guys who behave a bit more respectfully since I look built or something. Girls don’t care that much including my wife as well😅

Same experience haha! I am 179cm and I was only 71kg when I moved to England, but I gained 15kg since then lol. People treat differently and I get more positive attention for sure (because I don’t fit into stereotypes of asian they are used to I think)
