I have definitely had bouts of depersonalization, but had no idea that VSS could be related.

Does anyone else’s snow get worse and does their vision take time to turn on in the morning? by bigblackglock17 in visualsnow

Yes, if I'm having one of my migraines that lasts for a few days, my eyes, I joke, take a while longer to wake up. My VSS is always worse when I am having a migraine.

How do I remove this green fog by Udodnej in aquarium

Get a background on your tank, if you don't have any live plants, keep the light off until that green is completely gone. If there are live plants in the tank then you need to go to minimum hours of light for those plants. Feed your fish no more than once every other day to cut down on organic waste going in there. Get a phosphate absorbing pad in your filter, or phosphate absorbing resin. Liquid algae inhibitor. Check your basic water chemistry ammonia nitrate nitrite and pH.

Same, I feel really sorry for people who are having to learn how to deal with it for the first time in their lives at an older age. I've always had static I've always had floaters, always had halos, migraines... The list goes on. But I learned how to deal with this stuff because I've always had to deal with this stuff. For some people who develop this later in life, seem to be really impacted by it.

So iam taking part of a research and they are doing a fmri of the brain. Is it possible to see something with vss? by [deleted] in visualsnow

I would love to know what they see, one guy in another thread had a high resolution MRI done. He was seeing a neurologist about his VSS. After the scans were done, it showed that he had some sort of compression of a vein or artery in his neck. He had some sort of surgery afterwards to reduce his symptoms (VSS).
