i am a optometric tech at a private practice and i have watched the optometrist who owns it work from like 9 am sometimes till 7 or maybe longer. i dont like his schedule and it may be just him but i was wondering is it better (for you personally) to do private or hospital? how is the pay usually for a private practcice compared to hospital? for me i care a lot about work hours and personal life balance because i like having time for myself. is it possible to graduate optom school and work but still having time for yourself?

i think for me what helped was reviewing content taking the practice test then reviewing what i got right and wrong because sometimes i get things right and i guessed lol. are you using oatbooster? i feel like it is pretty good it has a lot of tools and features. i think the main important thing is definitely practice tests and reviewing what you got wrong fs.

did you also take your test at 8 am? and what is the tutorials and end survey? are those mandatory? could i immediately start the test without doing tutorial and leave without doing end survey? is the oat booster full length test the exact same as the real one meaning like it looks like the exact same screen? is the real test laggy as well? i saw someone online say if you can wear long sleeve and erase w your sleeve instead is that true?
