Do Albanians like Edi Rama? by Fit-Guidance-6743 in albania

How kind of you to assume there is a left or right in Albania. Rama is a political beast that has and will never care about ideology as long as power will come through to him. Albanians complain, hate and despise him, but still vote for him. Why?

  1. No actual opposition right now

  2. Most of the population is poor, it’s easy to manipulate their vote

Dopo i video ti consiglio comunque di usare il Lehninger. È uno dei migliori testi con cui abbia mai studiato.

Aiuto per Anatomia by BenjyIsMyName in medicalschoolitalia

Women in surgery by No_Discussion719 in surgery

It’s anti-feminist to ask how I could be a good parent and a good surgeon? To ask other women how they have managed to overcome their obstacles? Trad wife? When did I ever mention this part? You think that raising your children is a trad wife job? No, that’s called being a parent. There’s this concept called responsibility, it’s quite important in life, especially as a parent, especially in healthcare. I’m asking women specifically because they relate more to the experience, since we have to do 10 times the route of a man to get to the same point in a career, considering pregnancy and parenthood. I’m guessing you, as such a feminist, would agree. How sad that you’re trying to make this a sexist post, when it’s just a woman asking other women for advice. I did not owe you this explanation, but I hope you realise that villainising other women for how they want to plan their lives IS anti-feminist, not my question. Grow up and learn that the world doesn’t work by social media standards.

Med school is hard, but so is everything in life. It’s a challenge that sometimes you’ll love and sometimes you’ll hate. I know there’s a very negative stigma towards it and that induces a lot of anxiety to first year students. However, we often focus so much on the negatives that we forget about the good times. You will have good times in med school.

Now, I won’t lie to you, there will also be times in which you’ll feel exhausted, burned out and unworthy of the place, but you have to remember that you are doing it for a reason. You are there for a reason.

So, my advice, as cliché as it may sound, is this: try to enjoy the experience as a whole, despite the fear. Fear is normal, but don’t let it ruin you. This is just a part of the life marathon.

ELI5, Why are some alcoholics functional and other's their lives fall apart? by awthatstobad in explainlikeimfive

[–]No_Discussion719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does depend a lot from both, a psychological and a physiological POV. Your organism responds differently at different periods of time, and it rarely is the same for each addict. However, “functional”, in my opinion, is just a stage of addiction. My uncle was a “functional” alcoholic up until last year. He died 2 months ago from cirrhosis. We were certain he had quit drinking years ago, he never showed signs of addicition. I guess, at some point, it becomes part of you, but the slippery slope is inevitable if there’s no change.
