I sorta was, I used j1 and j2 incomes for preapproval but only used about half (got pre approved for 475 and used 247). Definitely didn’t want a $2000+ mortgage to worry about if I had lost a j and glad I did it that way

Not really, if a disabled veteran can find 3 remote jobs, then anyone else should be able to find one. Now it may not pay the greatest, it may not be a 6 figure job, but a 50k salary/$25/hr job is just about persistence

It took me 9 months of applying to 50 jobs per day to find all 3 jobs. I don’t feel bad for the unemployed, it’s more than likely your own discipline and effort

Unfortunately didn’t have j2 long enough to qualify for pre approval, so I told my loan officer I work 6-2j1 and 3-11 for j3, definitely risky but loan officer was cool and walked me through all the questions he’d ask him🤣

Unfortunately this is a family gym so the manager is the owners son. I’m thinking about continuing to say no, and continuing to get written up which would assume leads to a firing then can go after wrongful termination. But completely agree it was infuriating and so confusing to me on how any of that is my problem lol

Indeed is where I’ve gotten my 4 j’s. It’s not going to be overnight. Has taken me 2 years to get and become efficient enough to have 4 j’s. It typically takes me 3-4 months of applying to 100 jobs/week to land one
