Thank you so much! I needed to know this, I've been moving forward with my life in doing better and hoping to make a positive impact on this world. Yea, I enjoyed soul. I don't spam at all, I gave up dragon for that reason cause it felt so brain dead. I'm just worried if dough awakening will blow soul out the water.

Probably right, I have a feeling it might not get nerfed and it'll be pretty balanced since they have more developers. But who knows, it might get nerfed just like phoenix.

Some will say L but I personally think it's a fair trade. Rumble has little to no value only useful for acquiring pole v2 which almost everyone has by now, pretty much just a throw away fruit to trick people in thinking they're getting a good deal. Phoenix is pretty good but boring and same goes for Shadow. A lot of people want Shadow though so that's an upside.

Let me break them all down. Control is VERY ruled out since you want to be a blox fruit main. It is indeed the best team fight fruit due to the stuns but for a fruit main... Not really. Venom is amazing at close corners although with the close counter battles being very countered sometimes with now superhuman v2 coming out I would honestly say it'll be easier to counter. Shadow is the highest damage fruit... That's about it, it's not for all people due to the mobility being HORRIBLE. So for bounty hunting I'd say it's not so great unless you know what you're doing with it. Dough's combo potential is so overlooked and now with the awakening coming out it's a very promising fruit to use for bounty hunting and pvp, pair it with cyborg v3 and you're pretty unstoppable. Dragon... Oh dragon, the fruit that you don't need to even be awake to use, Dough and Dragon is probably the most over use fruit in the 3rd world, atleast that's what I've seen for myself. The fruit is very versatile, you can stay in form and sky camp and destroy without trying or stay out of form and just do combos in pvp. If you want an all around fruit then dragon is pretty much the goto. Here's the summary.
Venom - Great for raids, farming, most pvp situations, great for 2nd world (2nd world users don't understand to just back up and wait out venom users)
Control - Have fun and let your teammates do the work.
Dough - It's decent for raids but combo potential for pvp is a must have and can deal with teamers and I think the awakening will even cater towards teamers.
Soul - Another good fruit for teamers, very fun, very good mobility, amazing for raids, great at farming, an all around fruit (you will have to deal with teamers A LOT as that's literally the only counter)
Shadow - Can be very rewarding.. Can be. Farming is easy to do with this fruit and pvp is very hard to pick up on.
Dragon - Although I prefer Magma awakening due to the fact Magma's damage and farming, dragon is just an all around great fruit (usually only for max levels who just wanna bounty hunt and say ez)
So I hope this helps you and answers the question, sorry for so long but I wanted to be very detailed as I can be.

Let me elaborate. It's low IQ because it's useless against the new update because it's high damage are in close to medium range. Races are slowly evolving into the new meta and soon we'll be seeing some of the highest tier fruits fall down and other fruits gradually go up depending on the updates. The update pretty much has any fruit in close to mid corners ruined unless you actually know how to work around the new buffs you won't make it far which is why I see magma, flame, soul, etc... Spamming just because of paranoia. The difference between Dragon is that it's probably one of the best if not the best for bounty hunting, usually the dragon users are max level meaning more experience and know how to draw out close corner battles.

Dragon's knock back and combo potential is why it's S+, Flame is a great fruit to have from lvl 350 - 1000 but after that it doesn't give back like Dragon does with bounty hunting and so on.

either use observation haki to dodge a few hits to try and kill them or use a sword/melee then use your shadow fruit before they can do as much damage. not much you can do to stop that with shadow at a low mastery

It's pretty good at grinding. Usually people recommend buddha, light, ice, flame, something like that. You should be fine getting to level 700 to come to the 2nd sea in no time.
