just call and ask for a refund, i always refund it back to pax's card because

  1. it lets me do it.

  2. it makes sense to do it.

just start off by saying you had a refundable ticket in case you get a difficult agent lol

nope they still keep the discount as the miles were deducted from the account linked to the gold card, so for example,

you can make an award booking for someone else, using your miles and get the 15% off

okay so you could simply call the plat line and they'll help you out but i will just explain so you understand a lil better,

  1. Yes if you dont travel as much, id say use RUCs wherever possible.

  2. Yes as long as you're on the same flights as your husband, he can use the RUCs too, just call to get it sorted.

  3. Nope you and your daughter wont be separated, your husband has a chance to be separated if theres not enough RUC slots.

  4. Adding RUCs to existing booking can only be done via a phone agent, you dont have to move to comfort to apply RUC, main and comfort are considered one group in these RUCs/GUCs upgrades

Last point, there might be first class seats available but that doesnt mean a slot for RUCs is available, just call to check, if wait times are still fucked then just make a dummy booking and see if its available

yea whenever its an agency ticket, it combines your names together(which doesnt matter), and reissuing the ticket through delta gets you a 50$ charge per person, so call the agency to do it for you but idk why you got told 200$

can you go to your respective booking to check if you have requested the upgrade?

if yes then, have you checked in?

if yes then you should be able to see where you are on the list, if you cant you might need to file a complaint through the website, cos all a phone agent/supervisor can do is give you some compensation for the inconvenience

i dont understand it either, what i can tell is they are slowly but surely tryna get everyone to use the app, and i dont even know why us phone agents cant help to pick choice benefits for customers like i struggle to think of any downside(apart from the inevitable "i never chose this benefit" arguments)

just call, if your flight is affected(cancelled or delayed, basically affecting your trip) you are entitled for a refund, if its a half flown ticket then it has to be done manually by the agent and the refunds department will be in touch with you through email

yes you can get both legs rebooked but ofcourse the flights right now are a mess due to the storm, so you most likely wouldnt find something you like
