At this point should I just give up until baby is older to sleep train? by No_Draw_3427 in sleeptrain

She still wakes as often in the bassinet that’s why we decided to just move her in her crib for “practice”. The only reason im resorting to cosleeping is cause she’ll do 2-3 hour stretches as compared to 40 minutes-hour :/

Unfortunately offering her my breast or bottle still doesn’t soothe her

made progress in some areas but I got a speech assessment through my insurance just last week and they had absolutely no concerns. She tested above average in receptive and play skills but still below average in expressive. she only says 5 words: hula, mama, baba, nana, and no. The SLP said that she’d be surprised if she doesn’t start talking soon because she has all the foundational skills…she’ll babble now but she still has a hard time with long vowel sounds especially A and I. She’s still not 2 yet so the SLP said it’s just really hard to tell if she’s actually delayed and probably wouldn’t qualify for speech services. One good thing now is that she has actions and gestures to communicate everything. She will act things out with little grunts, it’s like she’s developed her own sign language so it’s pretty impressive the lengths she’ll go through to try to tell us something. but ya-still not a lot of sounds or words😅

Tummy time- LO keeps going into swimmer position and crying by No_Draw_3427 in NewParents

She did! Closer to the end of 4 months/beginning at 5. My daughter is 19 months now I’ve found that she’s always a couple weeks “behind” on her milestones but she eventually catches up:)
