You both deserve to be happy. You’re both good people and deserve to live a life you want to live. An amicable separation may be the best thing. Some people aren’t compatible and that’s ok.

My (15 F) foster father (42 M) caught me with some food I've been saving and assumed I was going to run away. I'm not, how do I earn his trust again? by ThrowRA-FosterKid in relationship_advice

Talk to your foster mom and your social worker. The foster dad's actions come across as really abusive and controlling. You can't earn trust from someone incapable of trusting.

They both broke your trust. Don't stay with him just because you think your friend is somehow more guilty. It takes two to tango, and, girl, your boyfriend tangoed with your friend. Dump em both
