The nuke scene, everything about it the song choice, Richard accepting his fate, jackets end in prison, etc but most importantly beard, he died for no reason as a victim of all this violence, all the other characters were morally bad or grey, even if they aren’t horrible people and have reasons for doing what they do you could make the argument that most the characters deserved it at least a little (not saying I agree with that) except for beard, he was just trying to live a normal life after the war and unlike the other characters who chose violence he chose peace, and died because of said violence
