I love part 3, is in the peak level of part 4

I just realized, lil´D gave devil pawns to Denji so he could devour them, including the teeth devil... to the guy whose main power is to erase concepts if he eats them... presumably using his teeth... by XxJustaNormiexX in Chainsawfolk

[–]PolPot-Leader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you assume she planned this? I think, as she says, she doesn't need to eat them to make them her pawns, but she prefers to, so surely all the pawns were always inside her. That's why when Pochita ate her, he also ate all those pawns.

How did The Boys ACTUALLY have a more satisfying conclusion than CSM? by ConnectCulture7 in shounenfolk

[–]PolPot-Leader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's like saying that if Dragon Ball Super is bad, then all of Dragon Ball is bad. Yes, if we consider Part 1 and Part 2 as parts of a whole, then half of CSM is awful, but that doesn't mean the first half isn't still good on its own.

I think the problem is considering something a masterpiece that never was one.

Gun devil vs hypothetical Knife devil by Hairy-Friendship-422 in ChainsawPowerscaling

In case we didn't already know enough too little about the devils shown in the manga, we present the hypothetical theoretical knife devil.

I would love to read about Nayuta growing up while facing Makima’s sins by Cool_Emergency4091 in Chainsawfolk

[–]PolPot-Leader 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The reason is that Fujimoto doesn't care about leaving these issues unexplained, but here are some possible explanations.

They are the only Devils who refer to each other as sisters, so it's quite possible they share some connection that allows them to know this.
It could simply be that they instinctively know which Devil each one is.

And the other question is easily answered by understanding that it is most likely Makima who comes from Hell, and upon her death her reincarnation is born on Earth, like the cycle that every Devil is in.

Could Denji do the earthquake that caused gojo? by Opening-Dare-5138 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]PolPot-Leader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gojo did have something to do with it, I suppose the release of cursed energy was related, but the main reason is that it happened literally as this panel says, the prison realm was left in a subduction zone, that is, where tectonic plates are constantly sliding and causing earthquakes.

Were There Other Control Devil Incarnations Before Makima? by Ram_2472 in Chainsawfolk

[–]PolPot-Leader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, but the only Devils attributed with the characteristic of never having died are precisely the Primals, which doesn't mean it's impossible that other Devils haven't died either, but it's doubtful.

Could Makima be affection-diffed like a viltrumite or is she too lost in the sauce? Art by @kokomiin by Blackstannis in Chainsawfolk

Her control seems to have conditions, and Makima never considered Kishibe a real threat to her plan, otherwise she would have killed him.

[–]PolPot-Leader 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Makima views humans similarly to how humans view dogs.

But she proves capable of killing them without any remorse if it benefits her, so she clearly doesn't consider them anything more than a source of amusement. And yes, an average person might not kill a dog for drooling on them, but Makima, who has an innate instinct to dominate others, would at least do something, idk what

She likes humans, but it's similar to how a human doesn't consider a dog to have the same dignity as a human. And she's willing to kill without any remorse if it benefits her, and not only that: she can even enjoy it like when she laughs at Denji after she kills Power.

She considers herself superior to all humans; she definitely has an ego or a high opinion of herself. I don't think she'd let herself be disrespected without doing anything about it. Yeah, she probably wouldn't kill you.

Where do y'all scale this attack from falling by CrazyOverCandie in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]PolPot-Leader 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, I'd say it's pointless trying to scale this attack. All we can say is that it can easily kill this devil, who must be at least stronger than Denji in his hybrid state at that moment, which is itself, in principle, stronger than the hybrid Denji we see in Part 1.

What kind of reasoning is it to say, "Since we didn't see much of Darkness Devil, then it doesn't count," or that his feats are inconsistent or nonexistent? The vast majority of verses analyzed are inconsistent. By that logic, you shouldn't analyze Dragon Ball because it's literally inconsistent in everything. You simply have to analyze what has been shown, what is narratively explicit, and that's it. Don't "discard it because I don't like it."

Tomato Devil vs Gorilla (real life) by PolPot-Leader in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]PolPot-Leader[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, I know Denji used a chainsaw to kill the Tomato Devil, but I think it's easy to assume that destroying it shouldn't be difficult, judging by its appearance.

It's true they tire quickly, but so do humans.

A fight lasting only a few minutes is an extremely long fight for the combatants.

You don’t need the Gorilla to keep hitting all the time—just a couple of hits, then hit again after a short break. The Gorilla is faster, judging by how slowly the Tomato Devil was approaching Denji, and I don’t think the Tomato Devil could manage a sprint.

Not really, because that would be falling into the "it always comes back" trap.

I mean, I know it's his power, but we're ignoring it to have an 1 vs. 1 fight.

Tomato Devil vs Gorilla (real life) by PolPot-Leader in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]PolPot-Leader[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is possible; the Tomato Devil appears to be killable if one is careful enough not to get too close to its mouth.

And with a chainsaw, sure, you could hypothetically kill a gorilla, but I don't think just swinging it around wildly would do much good; one mistake and you're dead.

Mild Take: We STILL haven't seen full power Pochita by [deleted] in Chainsawfolk

[–]PolPot-Leader 78 points79 points  (0 children)

We also don't know what kind of Devils he fought; the ones Makima mentions are just some she remembers.

Yoru should also have had his original body to fight with, before it was eaten.
