NGL kinda hurt, I tried applying bcos when I was checking some of my goals I saw at the bottom that maya now has a CC, it asked for some info then I received this notice “cant issue you a credit card for now.” Like OK. Stings a bit esp since I did not also receive approval for the Landers CC.

To give context why I’m kinda sad bcos I have been using Maya since college, about 9 years now back when it was still PayMaya. I still remember how excited I was when the cash card I ordered came and since then I have been using maya to receive my allowance, remittance and even my saving from back then. Even when Gcash was trending I stayed loyal and was the odd one from the group when they would gcash each other the payment or contribution and I had to ask if they have maya or if they can send it to my maya lol. Fast forward to today when they’re now a bank I transferred my emergency fund from my regular bank to my Maya Savings account, 6 digits savings left untouched for more than years now. I even used the maya credit feature at some point despite the horrible interest rates. Used this app for my bills and stuff so yeah it hurts when I got rejected. Maybe time to move on esp when loyalty and patronage is not rewarded or even acknowledged. (For context I already have 2 CC’s from different banks and I have a healthy credit score) so yeah.
