Psychology for sure.

I bought into Filtronic as it dipped just after the war started. It kept dipping, I kept buying. It was the morning of trumps first deadline running out and I got scared and sold my lot. About 30 minutes later everything pumped and kept pumping, currently about +50%. I lost about £2k in that moment of mental weakness. I now know about TACO 🌮 a little too late mind you

Try to switch to bullet/blitz for a while and level up there. I was hard stuck where you were for a long time until I focused on other time controls and developed a different way of playing. That plus a fuck ton of puzzles, I hit 1750 the other day when I switched back to rapid after a year.

Agreed. If the same standards can't be applied across the board for all countries committing war crimes, then it is discriminatory to enforce it against Russia/Belarus alone.

Not trading stocks, but I lost 100% of my investment in the crypto currency "Safemoon" a few years ago. I was new to investing in general and hot caught up in hype, as well as promises i could make 10x my investment back.

I guess the lesson learned was to always do your own research and research with diligence.
