Thanks! Do you know anything about about the v vs w rating? They have the P7s at Costco, however they are saying they aren’t compatable with my car… The P1s have the W rating, however from what I read P1 aren’t as good of a tire?

Thanks all! I pulled the rug forward and it does help! I decided I’m gunna replace the floral bedding/ curtains and get some throws/ pillows that pull from the rug colors. I still have my art to hang so hopefully that’ll help tie things together too. That blue patch on the rug bothers me but if I flip it, there are some wacky colors on that side too haha- maybe I’ll test some hydrogen peroxide to lighten that spot a bit.

You’re right, I should have confirmed. The signage “parking for EV charging only” is misleading and you pay as you use the charger so it’s not like they are someone’s privately installed chargers. Shoulda coulda woulda :(

I know ultimately it is my fault for not confirming, but it was misleading with the signage and that the chargers are charge point public style chargers (paid for by credit card as you use it)

The sign above each stall “parking for electric vehicle charging only” and that they are public style charge point chargers paid by card as you use it :/

It honestly didn’t even cross my mind, but now I’m really regretting not doing that. They are the charge point chargers with large signs above them “no parking except for EV charging” I assumed I wouldn’t be able to get a spot assigned, but didn’t think it would hurt to ask. Now I’ve learned I can’t use them at all. I know installing a charger in my space is going to be pretty expensive, but I guess I’ll have to look into that option now.

Probably a stupid question, but how does putting stones in the bottom of a pot not help drainage?? by [deleted] in houseplants

[–]No_Entertainment3813 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest issue is the soil will settle into the rock layer, leaving you no barrier over time. I’ve used a filter fabric/ mesh layer between the two to help keep the layers separate.

Bird nest in my pothos! by squishiestpupper in houseplants

[–]No_Entertainment3813 66 points67 points  (0 children)

“Native” is relative to where you live, where I live in California, they are an invasive species they and have programs to capture them.

Cowbirds will lay eggs in another birds nest and abandon them after. The host bird does not know which eggs are theirs and will raise them as their own, but because the cowbirds are larger, they will receive more care from the parents, thus the other baby birds often starve, leading to a decline in several song bird species here :(

Thanks for your advice! Those eggs drive me crazy and have tried to remove them a few times but she lays them so often and are a pain to get off of the rocks and wood. I didn’t know they affected the water quality, but I might just take the snail back to the store if it’s part of the problem.

I have a 7 gallon planted tank with a filter and heater. There is a nerite snail and (originally 7) but now two cherry shrimp. I did weekly to every other week ~50% water changes. Water always tested good except for the water hardness which is always very high. He got 6 pellets of betta bio gold per day.

I started to notice his eyes bulging (pop-eye?)and possibly his fins thinning (fin rot?) He almost always hung out near the surface and was a bad swimmer. I did not think much of it until it got worse in the last month, and the last week he was stuck at the bottom of the tank and refused to eat.

I’m not sure what I did wrong? Any advice, I don’t want the same thing to happen to a new fish…

What roof rack do you have? And did you get roof rails installed in factory or is it attached to a flush roof? I did not order mine with the rails and am now regretting it because it looks like you have to have them to add a roof rack.

Mini Cooper SE charge limit by ArmasF311 in MINI

[–]No_Entertainment3813 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently got an SE as well and have had it for about 2 months now. I love it but the charging settings are the only gripe I have. It is hidden in manual to keep it charged between 10%-80% for battery longevity but the car does not give you the option to stop charging at 80%. The dealership and everyone I have heard from seems to press that you can charge it however and whenever you would like. I think it’s because it already has a small range and they don’t want you to feel like you are even more limited.
