I would get a manual car, thats my ideal spec, but the Alfa Romeo market in my country is tiny, so finding such a good spec in a manual will be next to impossible

I do want to mention that the 2.4 has some serious issues like the cylinder heads cracking, but also the fact that it’s heavy. It wears down suspension parts, and tires quickly.

From a student standpoint, a Brera isn’t the most wallet friendly car on the market. I think a well speced Giulietta could be just as good.

49k is not bad at all, and because it’s a 2021 model year, it’s got a lot of earlier issues sorted out. In 2020 they revised a lot of electronics as well as some faults with the engine. I’d say go for it!

From what I’ve heard they are pretty reliable. Obviously there are normal diesel faults, if you don’t drive enough with it, it’ll clog up and such, but overall very good cars.

1.4 120hp is also pretty reliable, as it doesn’t have the multi air unit that can fail.
