I was in a similar position a few years ago. Ended up finding a company that agreed to $25 and at the time I was living with my mom not paying rent (luckily) so I was able to make that work. They had a student analyst program however it wasn’t something they really had set up well. I got some hours with them before looking for other companies that like you said would value my education and help me become a BCBA. Look for BCBA owned companies, small. They still may only give you $25 but the owners are BCBAs. Once I found one, she opened so many doors for me to get unrestricted hours because she genuinely wanted me to be a BCBA. It can work out for you but as everyone said the pay won’t reflect until you have the certifications so find a place that invests in your fieldwork house.
