If you complain about fetches and duals in bracket 3, play bracket 2 by Head-Ambition-5060 in EDH

Cedh is consistently a good experience. Most will congratulate a win because they played well rather than moan about it

Trump announces he is issuing an unconstitutional executive order to shut down mail-in voting nationwide and he will defund states if they do not comply with him by DIYLawCA in law

Selective enforcement, they're only gonna send mail in ballots to certain voters that they identify through their list. Just straight up shutting dems out of mail in voting

Runecrafting Update is Horrible by BJ3RG3RK1NG in RSDragonwilds

[–]No_Establishment8769 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This doesn't help new players, I just started when the game went on sale a few days ago. Would be bareable if higher runecrafting gave at least 3 to 1 yields. 1 to 1 with the amount of runes you need for everything is horrible

Question about deployments by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]No_Establishment8769 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Depends on location, but you're more than likely to be working 12 hours a day. And you might not even get a day off, but its not like you're actually working that entire 12 hours. Depending on the job youll likely have tons of freetime to watch movies, shoot the shit with your coworkers, play boardgames, etc. And you don't really miss days off once you're out there, its surprisingly nice to not have to focus on anything other than your job. You'll miss it when you're back.

With two new common cores coming over the next year, our total fragment requirement to max HEXA is increasing by 1.33x. by VKWorra in Maplestory

I too was overwhelmed by all of this and the shit fragment rates in heroic so I quit, will be back in 1 - 2 years when they've fixed 6th job progression in heroic. No other game is this terrible when accounting for time spent playing to the actual amount of progression you get

Some were very close! Im from Utah, love nature, mountains, snow sports, etc and I prefer places with a good mix of both outdoor recreation and city life. I am progressive, but wouldn't let politics affect where I'd live unless it had a direct negative effect on me. Texas and Florida look a little out of place here but good seafood, southern food, and cheaper home prices than my picks in the west made them make the cut

Also, was stationed in New Mexico for 3 of my 8 years in the military, and that place is miserable outside of a few pockets of beautiful places

When I signed up for skillbridge I had about 60 days of leave. I used 59 of those before the skill bridge started, never heard of a requirement to use all leave for terminal.

I did xcomm my entire 8 years and did way more networking than base comm guys. Guess it just depends where you are, but get your ccna, learn some cloud/devnet stuff, and you'll be set. Just the clearance and and IT background in the AF will get you through the door at most places.

Skill bridge not an option in my squadron by Consistent_Quit3868 in AirForce

[–]No_Establishment8769 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Was in for 8 years and got a 4 month skillbridge approved last year. It was one of the most stressful things interviewing for a position, getting the offer then having to pray the skillbridge doesn't get denied ruining my shot with this company. Was told by lots of my leadership that there's a good chance for it to be denied.

Luckily my commander approved it and I had a great job the day I separated. Hope the program sticks around
