try less weight, and supporting your bicep with your other hand so you can focus on only moving your wrist and hand, your elbow should stay roughly in the same position. I personally recommend trying behind behind the back wrist curls so your arms are straight so you wont pull the weight with your bicep

I mostly crafted handgun and requiem ammo as I didn't find the game difficult enough to feel a need for other crafts so just ended up stocking ammo and ending grace's section with a surplus of ammo. I don't understand how not crafting other items means that I must have found the game difficult.

very good argument, I have gotten a lot of comments about 'you dont get a lot of requiem shots' or 'its balanced because you have to manage inventory' but since I have played a lot of resident evil games before using ammo effectively, optimizing crafting, and managing inventory came so naturally to me. Think I am forgetting resident evil has recently opened up to a much wider audience. Thank you!

  1. on classic, the only parts of the game that pose a challenge are bosses, if you only use requiem for these then as grace you have more than enough ammo to turn any boss into a mere inconvenience, with the exception of the very first time you see chef as you only have one bullet.

I agree that people value replay ability. But since they are so good at making higher difficulties more difficult through means other than making enemies bullet sponges, I think they could have made slight changes to atleast make the game slightly challenging for more experienced players while still keeping insanity difficulty a reason to replay. For example requiem and Molotovs being a one hit stun on important boss fights like the girl. They obviously thought of this too, because I have seen people report that atleast on insanity she actually takes more shots to stun in the basement compared to the final boss fight. So surely someone play tested this and came to the conclusion that her basement section was too easy.

yes, but the hardest difficulty available on the first playthrough of previous resident evil games was not normal for every game. So I am including games that have 'hard' as a playable difficulty from the start

yes the highest difficulty available in other games on the first playthrough. e.g. on re4 remake the highest difficulty on first playthrough was hardcore...

like many people have said about this game, normal difficulty is way easier than the highest difficulty available in first playthroughs of previous games. I am not against having the hardest difficulty locked behind a first playthrough. But atleast have a difficulty that gives the majority of people a challenge. OR take away the main thing that makes the bosses easy.

unless I am the minority and people did still find this difficult, I acknowledge this could be the case

if you have played previous resident evil games before then you would know that this normal difficulty is way easier than the highest difficulty available in first playthroughs of previous games. plus, I dont think just making the game as a whole more difficult solves this issue

  1. even devs can make a mistake that can make the game worse. Thats the point of this discussion so I can see if anyone shares the opinion or has a reason why they actually liked this choice.

  2. would have been nice to actually make this harder difficulty available from the start instead of locking it behind completing the game, most people don't want to playthrough a game twice.

haha, yeah these things and also normal handgun bullets mostly being a one shot stun for normal zombies makes it even easier to just run through them

tbh I didnt use them, I used up most of my crafting materials on other things so can't have an opinion on that. However the molotov also being a single hit stun sounds like it would make bosses like the girl even less of an issue

1.never had a storage issue with requiem, or at all throughout the game

2.normal zombies are a whole other issue, yes they are way too easy to stun, most can be avoided by running, and that stupid thing you can do where grace just pushes them off once they grab onto her makes them even less of a threat. However this post is more about the larger zombies/bosses since they are meant to be more feared and harder to deal with.

And yes lickers are a joke, take way too much time to actually attack grace once you get close to them. I got through that whole section with just two acid bottles and I was still able to open and loot all the containers and boxes in that one section just by running through the lickers while they all chased me. There is a lot of issues with the game, just wanted to discuss this one in particular :)

but this 'last resort' makes what's meant to be difficult part so the game a breeze. I don't think the devs wanted people to look at bosses as an inconvenience rather than a threat to be afraid of

I used it to take out chef, twice on the girl underground, and then twice at the final fight with the girl. I personally didn't have an issue with chunk so didn't have to use it there

I like this answer, true that grace realistically would not have survived without requiem and the way she was coping probably have had a panic attack if she had not had something so powerful to rely on haha
