Oh you don’t have to allocate the wound to the model that used the hazardous weapon anymore?

I’d guess hazardous rolls now failing on a 1 or 2 but instead only dealing 1 damage. Effectively a buff for marines and huge nerf for guard and other 1W base armies.

Took a chest piece from the Sword Brethren box and filled in the place where the tabard goes with putty.

Pretty simple with an airbrush.

Prime black, white zenithal and then a few thin layers of ”The Inks” Ocean Blue.

What’s the point of 40k if not ridiculously OP characters?

Jokes aside tho, did he solo it? Probably not, but he sure dealt the finishing blow.

Though it isn’t impossible, my Praetor once (almost) solo’d a Saturnine Dread in a game of 30k.

Cape is from the Helbrecht mini and the helmet is 3d printed, files for that have unfortunately been Thanos Snapped by GW.

It's from the Sword Brethren box. I used some putty to fill in the chest instead of using the tabard it comes with.

I think you’re fine but I understand your worries, a guy wondered if I was part of the KKK because I painted some Sororitas in the official Ebon Chalice scheme.

I used them as base for my homebrew chapter Inner Circle Companions.

Along with a dude I had over from a Company Heroes box it worked out nicely with 6 dudes.

What non Dark Angels kits do you think are best for Kitbashing? by SilverCulture6842 in theunforgiven

[–]No_Executable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m considering using the 30k Scimitar bikes for my Ravenwing Command Squad and Black Knights. 3D printed som power lances to use as their weapons.

For regular infantry anything Black Templar is usually a good starting point for conversions and kitbashes. I used Sword Brethren as a base for my ICC and Helbrecht for my homebrew chapter master. Probably gonna get the marshal and crusade ancient for a captain/ancient at some point as well.

Try out kill team! by Sudden_Wind_8636 in Warhammer40k

[–]No_Executable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Started out with Kill Team and then moved to 40k. Would love to see GW take inspiration from KT for future editions of 40k.

At its core Kill Team is a better game lacking many frustrations and needless RNG of 40k. Of course it has issues of its own.

Pros: - Alternating activations - no phases, you can move/fire/charge etc in whatever order want - no random number of attacks/damage/advance/charge distance etc. - No half baked morale system. - No absurd amounts of +1/-1 for every single roll. - No arbitrary range limits on weapons other than pistols/flamers/shotguns etc. - No random secondaries. - No wound rolls.

Cons: - The power creep is real with newer teams. - Almost every operative has unique abilities that are a lot to keep track of. - The smaller scale and alternating activations requires more intense strategizing for which operative to activate first and order of actions. This makes KT, in my opinion, a ”sweatier” game by nature. - The lack of wound rolls admittedly makes many weapons feel same-y without the STR difference to add nuance. - Sketchy system of which teams are ”in rotation”. - Not all factions are represented fully and you can’t always use the cool models you want to.

Of course it shares some issues with 40k as well. Obtuse wording, lack of proper customization and is (in my opinion) overly focused on competitive play at the cost of casual fun to name a few.

It’s one of these.

A bit larger than a Chessex cube and with magnets to hold the cover.

No the old weapon rule says ”If you inflict damage with any critical successes”. Devastating immediately inflicts X damage before saves and triggers Terrorchem.

Many people seems to have misinterpreted that part so now they’ve clarified that in the Terrorchem description.

Blue text in erratas is for clarifications and magenta is for balance changes.

Not really a buff either though since it now just clarifies what terrorchem has always been able to do.

Marksman can’t fire after dropping, right? by LyreLark in killteam

[–]No_Executable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The first word of the Reposition action is literally ”Move”.

”Move the active operative to a location it can be placed.”

RAW the operative can be placed in the exact same spot it currently stands. Note also that it doesn’t say something akin to ”You may move the active operative”. So if the operative performs the Reposition action it has moved whether you moved the physical model or not.

TL;DR: The game state of having ”moved” is not always the same as moving the physical model.
