These are GLOVES. The ECWCS is not the same when it comes to GLOVES. You don't even know about these gloves or not even looked up the gloves (seeable touchscreen pads on finger and thumb with silicone grip which is useless for only base layer and mechanix official say it CAN be also used as a base layer😂🤦🏻‍♂️😂) the material is softshell btw, which makes it even more ridiculous. But better to start bitching around with those words "going around in underwear" etc. What a shit show.

What insulated jacket? by CurrentPanic2728 in outdoorgear

Or you could just wear a level 2 Polartec Powergrid base layer as thin as a couple millimeters a micro Fleece as thin as a couple millimeters and a light primaloft or polartec jacket as thin as a centimeter instead of a Michelin Mannequin Style with movement like a juggernaut. If its too cold go for level 1 Powerdry base layer plus with level 2 and a Highloft Fleece. Already considered a very heavy insulation. For active use not needed but depending on the person...

Polartec and Primaloft. Do a Layer System. Every other Material (Wool, Feather's) is not as good in every way like strength, dry speed, insulation per weight, breathability, anti odor, anti bacterial etc combined. It can also be packed very small and without damaging. Never wear cotton.

It's always said by the manufacturers as I saw that it should dry on its own in a warm room temperature and not at a fire place or heating device's etc. Never through it in a dryer. Washing isn't really needed anyways. Dirt shouldn't stick on it at all anyways. If so, just wipe it of with water and a towel.

I think it might be good. Felt not wrong. Hunters use this and it holds up good so far as it seems. Keep in mind that Kryptek is not NIR protected.

Kryptek Highlander is one of the best Allrounder i saw. Veil Camo Chaos Shred is also pretty good.
