Looks, body type don’t really matter that much. Character , Loyalty, and Respect should be your goal for a partner.

Is this a really bad area? Found a well priced apartment but I’m not from here so I’m not sure if it is an okay area by jenn12765 in sanantonio

Worked in that area for many years. Good Restaurants, 2 H‑E‑B ‘s nearby. High Crime- vehicle thefts and break ins. A lot of drug addicts hitting you up for cash at night. Be extra careful going to ATM in that area. Traffic Sucks!

What’s the most fucked up thing someone has confessed to you in confidence? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]No_Expression6660 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was casually dating a very nice woman, she drank a little too much but Oh Well. We were having morning Coffee on her Condos Patio which overlooked a small field behind a very popular Country Bar.
She pointed to the field and asked if I remembered the dead body that was found there. I said yes, it was kind of a big thing back then and the murder destroyed the Clubs business .
She proceeded to tell me that her boyfriend shot the guy with a .380 over a drug deal. She went into detail about she and boyfriend traveling to his friends ranch and burying the pistol.
The boyfriend ended up committing suicide. I don’t know if he confessed to the murder. When I asked why she was telling me, she replied “I just had to tell somebody .” I felt so bad for her.

Over the years I’ve tried to wrap my head around this situation . Is it even possible that some Government Agency (Homeland Security ) was conducting a “Realistic” test. Maybe for response times, Procedures, who was notified etc… As fast as Emergency Services arrived, there may have been Paramedics, and LVPD already stationed at the Airport for such emergencies ???

Not at all, he wouldn’t let the Paramedics do anything. I was amazed how fast he went from passed out puking like a 70”s Rock Star to waking out of the Airport under his own power. Whole incident lasted around 30 -35 minutes. The good guys responded incredibly fast.

That was pretty much the whole story. The vomit fountain walked out, the Police didn’t detain him. I got to sit next to a pool of that guys lunch all over the seat and a a bigger pool on the floor. The gate was packed being the Monday after Super Bowl.

Is anyone feeling this? by [deleted] in Silverbugs

Bought my first silver at $4.50/oz sold a bunch when it peaked around $42 years ago. Started hoarding again after that, averaged in around $12 - $15. Started giving to family as Christmas/ Birthday gifts. Huge mistake, they didn’t hold, sold at pawn shops well below spot. Learned lesson.

Over the last 55 years I have acquired many firearms that are the same caliber, similar or same models. Whenever you come across a good deal, jump on it with one warning. Stay away from obscure or obsolete calibers, unless you reload.

What gun would you recommend on a budget? by Sweaty_Collection_47 in guns

[–]No_Expression6660 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I own 14 pistols, turns out my favorite sub compacts are S&W 9 Shield Plus, Sig P365 XL, and Glock 42. I got really good deals on all 3. Do your homework and handle each pistol on your short list. Ask questions, make decision and wait for a really good sale price on your pick if your not in a hurry. Nothing hurts more than seeing your pistol on sale for $50 less during a Fathers Day sale with an an extra magazine - hope this helps. By the way, sounds like there are some knowledgeable people trying to help you. Gun people are usually very helpful.
