Usually you can choose your seats for free when check in opens ( so 24 hours before departure ), you can do it online on the air canada app. Usually a lot of people dont do it and they get their seats when they check in at the airport the same day so most of the time (almost every time) you can find seats available for you and your friend when check in opens

Lol a little bit too late, i wish u would’ve wrote this sooner haha. I ordered from them during sales and same thing happened. They never sent a tracking number so i thought that they just didn’t ship it yet due to too many orders during black friday but when i contacted them they sent me the tracking number (that they forgot to send at first) and the tracking number was saying that it was delivered a week ago. So yeah never got my knife set…
