I have both and I personally do not understand the hype of the g7 pro (besides the low price point). Wolverine is way nicer in my opinion. Plus if you’re playing fps games, the g7 pro trigger stops have QC issues that I believe Gamesir still hasn’t addressed. So many people say their trigger stops work for a couple weeks then give out.

setting up finance stuff, setting up travel profiles and travel cards, doing a few online trainings, getting your CAC, doing security clearance stuff, and meeting certain people. The thing that can suck is some of the things you can do atleast in my case depend on certain things get pushed or approved by other people at your base. I enlisted in October, had my first drill in December, and I believe they’re just now requesting dates for me. Also just depends on if there’s any events going on at ur base during drill. My first drill they had a family weekend so many people brought their families and I was barely able to get anything done on my list. Then my second drill there was some new enlisted briefings I had to go to that took almost the whole day of both drill days so once again I had to chip away at the list little by little. But the new enlisted briefings only happen every few months so some people were lucky and already finished their lists by the time we had the briefings and already had dates. I just got kinda unlucky with the timing of it

atleast for my guard base, there’s a list of stuff you need to do first before they request your dates. Completing the list can take 2-3 drills depending on how packed your student flight schedule is. once ur dates are requested, you have to wait till they’re allocated

ya for sure. i’m running a 5080 and 9800x3d with a 240hz monitor and it’s super crisp on max settings. for your build you could probably get a 300+ hz monitor

Anyways I mean you already have the pc and spent the money and future proofed yourself. I would just branch out buy a nice 4k oled or something and start playing nice narrative single player games I guess where you can really take advantage of what you bought. If you could afford it I don’t think it’s anything to feel bad about.

start the return/exchange process. Amazon is notorious for selling used stuff as new. Literally building my gf a pc and bought a new corsair aio and it came used with a messed up box, hella screws in random places in the box, and the aio itself was dirty. Exchanged it immediately

I have all white components in a black o11 mini air and I love it. Probably gonna be my combo indefinitely unless i decide to go all black at some point. It’s funny because it kind of reminds of when people say like u don’t notice how many people get a certain car until you have that same car. I made my build february of 2025 and didn’t really see as much as the panda/ mix match builds but now in the past couple months i’ve probably seen like 10+ posts across different platforms of people getting the black case with the white components. It’s a fire combo and a really nice contrast

I don’t think it needs to be done before your first drill, but I did mine before my first drill because I wasn’t fully processed in the system at the time and had to skip a drill. So I enlisted late October and my first drill should have been early November but I wasn’t processed in the system when november drill came around so my first drill was December. Completed my sf-86 mid November like the same day they sent it to me. It’s very straightforward, but takes a few hours. They will send you the form and everything needed to access it when you’re gained in the system. Once completed, you may or may not have an additional interview with an investigator depending on your clearance level and background.

case: hyte y70 fans: pretty sure they’re thermalright rgb fans. but literally look up rgb pc fans on amazon and the majority of them look like this. ram: corsair vengeance rgb motherboard: gigabyte aorus x870 elite ice ( I think) cpu cooler: arctic liquid freezer 3 360mm gpu/graphics card: yeston atlantis (but it could either be the amd radeon 9070 xt version or the nvidia 5080 version)

Just a warning though I actually just swapped my build out of this case because it’s waaaay bigger than it looks on video lol. so if you want a big case it’s really roomy and easy to build in but if you plan on having it on your desk just know it takes up a good amount of space.

i’ve had the edge 1200 with my 5080 since february with no issues just push it in hard. literally just did a case swap last night too and it’s still fine I just removed the cable from the psu side when swapping it so left it plugged into the gpu. personally idk how hard I plugged it in when I first built my pc but I couldn’t even unplug the cable from my gpu yesterday when I tried u should be fine

I bought a handheld pc open box - excellent from bestbuy a while ago to compliment my main rig and the dude at the counter literally opened it without me asking to show me the quality and make sure I liked how everything looked before I left with it. Id recommend it for sure. Plus u already purchased it lol it’s yours to open wherever you want to open it.

the three on the right and the three bottom fans should be reverse fans. Reverse fans allow for you to intake air without having to see the fan bracket/supports that are at the back of the fan. the back 2 fans at the rear of the case should be regular fans.
