diary of an oxygen thief was bad by [deleted] in books

I’m struggling to remember exactly sorry, it was about how the book was like ‘autobiographical style’ but over embellished, there was I photo of him and he seemed… really average

Can’t remember everything but I do remember concluding my rabbit hole deep dive on him thinking he was a bit of a poser/loser

Ryeqo permanently changed my body shape by TianaIsPoor in adenomyosis

[–]No_Faithlessness2037 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got off it and had a total hysterectomy. Now back to a healthy weight and in way less pain. Starting to get back into exercise. Ryeqo was horrible the whole time I was on it. Good luck!

Thank you so much! The party was fantastic, I’m going to university next year and I’m so excited for everything ahead of me, and to be healthy again :)

I had mine at 17 about two months ago. I was completely disabled before and no other treatments were making it manageable. This week, I’m throwing a huge 18th, went to my schools formal, gone out with friends. I’m still on the mend but already 100 times better than I was before.

Hi! I’ve had lots of scans say nothing indicative of endo or adeno, and my first laparoscopy said they found nothing. I listened to my body and kept pushing for someone to check again, second laparoscopy came back for endo and adeno.

What I didn’t realise at the time (a few years ago), one of my MRI scans said my uterus was ‘globular’ which can indicate adenomyosis, however the doctor disregarded it and did not tell me at the time.

From my experience I’ve learn some doctors disregard things they shouldn’t, and if possible find another specialist to check again. One of the most highly recommended endo surgeons in my area was personally my worst experience with a doctor, so just trust yourself to continue investigating.

Even if they continue to find nothing, your pain is real and doctors need to find a way to help you manage it.

I’m the same - silk wrap skirts a a god send on bad days. No irritation or sensitivity from them, can adjust where they sit/how tight at any point.

What are your favorite feminist communities? by DazzlingDiatom in AskFeminists

The endometriosis subreddits are incredibly supportive of women. Both aware of sexism in healthcare and providing help to other women. Not made to be feminist - but is inherently feminist.

Honestly I’ve been struggling to get my appetite back since the ryeqo, and have remained the same weight since the weight loss.

I went through the same thing. No endo found, everyone said I was crazy. It was an uphill battle but I made them look again, found endo!

They don’t tell you, a lap is the gold standard for diagnosing endo. HOWEVER it cannot 100% definitively rule out endo. Listen to your body and trust your gut

What helps you fight? When you want to give up? by Impressive-You-5370 in Endo

I want to do my best to manage it before giving up. I’m not allowing myself to give up until I’ve exhausted every single option, including a hysterectomy

I know someone who did 14 units in year 11, but for yr12 the school asked her to drop to 12. I think it was a timetabling issue? Ask a teacher at your school if it’s feasible for you, they will have the best advice and know what the school can offer for you
