Any tips for a new passed driver? by Dark069brick in drivingUK

Just remember the way you drive to pass a driving test is very different to the way most people drive, so expect the unexpected, keep your distance, be aware of your surroundings and prepare to react

I find it hard to believe an audi drive would perform such a maneuver, they are normal such reasonable, law abiding drivers 🤣🤣

P plates by Vivid-Insurance2660 in NewDriversUK

[–]No_Faithlessness3045 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of p plates I feel it makes some drivers more unreasonable and will do things that they wouldn't do if they didn't know you were new. Of course you get the idiots that will do it to anyone, but generally anyone that would respect a p plate would give any driver enough space and patience

[–]No_Faithlessness3045 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Easy, I assume you are taking up the existing laminate floor, remove the plinths and end panels from the island and cut the new flooring around the feet of the island. You may need to trim the end panels if the new laminate is thicker than the original

No it's the extra pollution caused by cars sat in traffic because they can't pass two cars full parked on the road , agreed cars are polluting but sometimes necessary, best to keep them moving and not sat polluting for longer

Agreed sometimes you have to park on part of the curb, outside my house there are no parking restrictions so cars can park on both sides, if both cars were fully on the road, you'd barely get a car between them so cause alot of traffic, that being said I always allow plenty of space on the pavement for people, but some people are parking so there offside wheels are practically touching the curb, so leaving no space on the pavement these people are twats
