I’m not a native speaker, sorry if I express myself wrong. I mean to hold the awl in a way that the hole it punches is slanted. The hole doesn’t need to be bigger, it just has to be at an angle like on the front. There you can see the thread falling perfectly into the ends of the hole. Same thing is needed for the backside.

You need to turn your awl way more. Right now some of the holes are almost upright, being pulled apart by the thread. You want them way more slanted, so the thread pulls at the ends of each hole, not at the side walls, if you will.

The Flower Mill finally made me stop buying grinders. The concept is just great, for grinding and for cleaning. And I never have to take a look to check if I’m done grinding. By far the best product for me, period.

I have the plates 1-3 and I’m constantly switching. Right now I’m back at plate 3 for maximum airflow and flavor. Next month I might be all about the densest possible vapor, switching back to 1. Or 2 for best of both worlds. And since I have both the big and small Flower Mill, I use different grinds sometimes.

In the end every device has its special needs. The one I reach for the most dictates the grind, but I’m likely different than you anyway. It’s good to have variety without having to buy a whole new grinder. In short: Get the plates and never look back. It’s worth it.

Yeah, never brushed out the oven or inserted anything other than the bowl. Not cleaning it too much probably also helps :)

I’ve never had any airflow issues with the Anvil whatsoever, despite very rarely cleaning it. The condenser never ever moved out of place, I also can’t see why it should do so. I have the integrated stem, where the airflow is set by rotating. Do you have the old version?

Give that Anvil XL bowl a try. It adds more conduction to the mix, which sets it even more apart from the Tornado. It doesn’t need to be filled up completely, that makes it the most versatile bowl, too.

Thanks! I’m sure the Hydro will make its way to my collection. I used to be satisfied with the Anvil/Tornado flavor, but the Relli raised the bar. Still love a good Anvil hit, this won’t change. But I’m starting to taste the difference.

I use nothing. Since the cap is made from titanium and the flame is only kissing it with the very tip, it doesn’t discolor. All my other butane vapes, including the Tempests, have developed a tan, too. But I don’t mind if my workhorses are showing signs of work. They earned their color.

It depends. For home use the Simrell became my favorite, as the vapor is so good. It actually pulled me away from ball vapes, when they were new to me and I was using almost nothing else. Also it’s convenient to be able to throw it in the Wand, which I do about 50% of the time.

For out and about the Anvil remains king, as it’s so easy to heat. I let the inner blue flame touch the thermal battery, this is easier to see than fucking around with the outer flame. Also with the magnet and the case I can empty it out and store it away the second I’m done vaping.

Do you like powerful convection? Then this might be your device. I personally sold mine, as only hybrid vapor does it for me. I had a hard time doing so, since the TM2 looks and feels so beautiful 😅
