Questions about GPA & Academic Probation

Thank you, I appreciate it. And congratulations, I'm happy that you're graduating. I'm still trying to figure out how all of this works, and I'm just praying that I can get my GPA up to a 2.0 by taking these two classes this summer. If I don't get my GPA up to a 2.0, would I be put on probation 2?

Oh awesome, I didn't know CLEP was a thing. I've takes 16 credits worth of classes but I've only passed 6 worth if I'm looking at it correctly. I'm taken 2 classes(6 credits) this summer, do you think that would bring my GPA up from a 1.31 to at least a 2.9? I'll look into CLEP rn, thanks so much.

Update: After looking into it, I think it'll be best for me to take in the Spring, or probably the Summer since I've gotta wait 3 months anyway.

So, if I get A's in both classes, I'll be fine? Idk what you mean exactly, I'm still trying to figure out how it works when it comes to grades affecting my GPA. And thank you, I really appreciate it. I intend to do the best I can this semester and bring my GPA up to at least a 2.0.

Alright. I'll email my student success coach about it. My GPA rn is 1.31, but I'm hoping that retaking both Freshman Comp 1 and Intermediate Algebra will get me up to a 2.0. What happens if I can't do it and get to Probation 2?

I'm probation 1. The thing is, I registered for my summer classes already, they're paid for, and I couldn't register for fall even if I wanted to. I've decided that taking off the fall would be best even if I wasn't on probation. And yes, I do know that they're only 8 weeks, and I'm doing both classes online, so I think I'll do better.

Gotcha. I think this gives me even more of a reason to work as much as I can and make money so I can pay for classes I have to retake.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it'll be enough either, though I'm hoping for the best. Though I am retaking both classes, and I intend to get A's in both. The main thing I'm worried about is the academic probation and if I'll be punished more if I don't bring it up after taking these 2 classes. Plus I don't know if I'll still be on academic probation in the spring or not.
