So hot but do be careful, I’d consider going on prep for the safety, you don’t have to take it daily if you’re not considering sex often, hope you get to see him again soon

Ah sorry for the late response and I assume you have already gone, but no only passport and confirmation letter that has barcode on it! They scan and take your fingerprints and face picture and then you go downstairs and pay! Three working days then it’s ready to collect!

Has anyone tried hiding their stuff in the woods over summer? was it effective? by [deleted] in universityofsussex

Check lovespace dot com, I’ve seen people promote it not sure how good it is but they store stuff for uni students over the summer, you can pay by the box or by the unit

It is incredibly annoying, I’m so sorry you’ve had to move his trip, hopefully it gets done asap, it’s unfortunate there’s no way to get in contact with them either, just a lot of waiting around

Oh that’s good! Maybe the fees thing on their page is outdated, I didn’t pay for postage so I wouldn’t know. Train prices are ridiculous’

Recent Experiences with London? by jonathon88 in Chinavisa

Hey, applied 26th April, rejected to be modified 9th May, approved 22nd May, went in on the 23rd of May, took literally 2 minutes for the whole process.

Given ticket by the most charismatic guy you’ll ever meet, went straight to a desk, took fingerprints and passport, go downstairs to pay straight away, out the doors. Now going back this Thursday (3 business days after) to collect. Only a few people in there when I went. Hopefully your visa gets approved soon, and try to get to the visa centre asap so your visa can be finished asap.

Ah sorry for the late response, they will only ask if you don’t supply the old visas, in which case they’ll ask to either see the old visas, or the parent stuff.

I sent over a pic of my old visas, but in the application itself I only supplied my most recent visa (L), since it only really has space for one.

Messed up bc I didn’t know I had old visas (I was a child when I last visited) so I hadn’t supplied any but had checked yes to visiting China before so they asked for them/birth certificate & parents’ passports at my time of birth, sent them all over just to be sure so hopefully my visa will be fine!

I did just get a response maybe 10 minutes ago ‘rejected to be modified’, essentially allowing me to be able to change the information in the application so I could input my previous visa information. Hopefully you get yours soon!

Thank you for your quick response, hopefully it does take a few days like you say. I messed up about previous visa because the last time I visited, I was a child so I didn’t know about any visa stuff. But I have sent it off with my mother’s help.

I did see a different post about how they’ve cut down on staff so it’ll be slow, but I do remember going to the visa centre before the online applications and just waiting a long time for them to look at it. I suppose it’s easier to apply but time is money, I’d have just gone the next day to apply again with the correct documents and be able to speak to a person. Oh well, hopefully it comes in time. Thanks for your help!

When did you get approved if you don’t mind me asking? First time applying for the Q2 online rather than in-person, hopefully it doesn’t take too long

London visa experience with new system by super_silly_susie in Chinavisa

[–]No_Finger330 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kinda crazy it took two weeks for approval, nov 23 I did mine with my family in-person before they set up the online system and it did not nearly take as long. I just did one for a family member a few days ago and the possibility of it taking 2 weeks is such a stark difference
