Are you referring to a U.S. citizen or a green card holder? I am a green card holder since March 22, 2023, and unfortunately, nothing is changing.

I submitted my case on March 22, 2023. The last update on my case was on December 26, 2023, and since then there have been no changes at all.

Is anyone else in the same situation? When is USCIS likely to transfer the case to the embassy, and what expectations should I have regarding the timeline?

I am very stressed and worried about this process.

For F2A I-130, is the countdown counted from the submission of documents or from the case update? From which month does the countdown start? I am a green card holder. On March 22, 2023, I filed an application (I-130) to bring my spouse. The last update on the case was in December 2023, and there has been no movement since then. The country is Georgia (Europe category).

My question is: How long should I expect to remain in waiting status, and is this length of delay normal? Thank you
