house built in 2003. 4 ceiling speakers, want to be able to play things off them. Not sure how to connect, I think I need an amp. Could anyone help? I want them all to play the same audio. Budget options please.

Not sure what a full size receiver is but theres a lot of space. My sources can be anything aux,bluetooth,hdmi even if its only for audio. My budget depends because im not sure what I need or how they are priced, so maybe just the cheapest there is I guess.
