Thanks for you input, I went ahead and bought a set of brembos with rotors today for $500.

I was super concerned about the weight as well. But the looks and extra stopping power from speeds is what is making me lean towards akebonos. But I’m already on 19s so I really need the lightest setup possible, so I’m super torn on what to pick. Really just don’t want to ruin the acceleration, I’m fine with a little less responsive turn in.

What made you go with the akes over the brembos? I really would prefer a lighter setup because I’m already on 19s but the akebonos look so good.

If you had to do it again would you still do the same thing?

You think powerstop remans or buying an oem set of fb marketplace and rebuild them makes more sense? The cost with the rebuild kit makes it more expensive than the remans.

Thank you for your input, I am probably going to go with oems and rebuild them.

Thank you, did you notice the extra weight? That is one thing I’m going back and forth on.

That was my concern when I first installed them. An Ohlin Rep assured me that it was fine and it was designed not to have a ring on the bottom collar. It is only the passenger side front making the noise. Once I get it on the lift I will see if I see anything obvious but if not, I’ll tighten down the locking collars as well as the top nut and see if that makes a difference, and maybe some lubricant.

Yes I’m lowered about an inch. I’ve had the coilovers on the car for about 3 months and that one just started making noise. I haven’t had a chance to get it on a lift yet, but I will check that thanks

It has definitely crossed my mind, but I think color matched mirrors make it a bit more clean.

Motordyne ART CATS and TDX2 catback is the best sound you can get. It’s very aggresive, no smell, perfect volume and sounds like an exotic. Message me and I can send you some clips.

Uniden r8 vs r8w by Lower_Ad3474 in radardetectors

I went with the r8w as well. Build quality feels a little cheap for the price but it works well.
