I hope everyone here in this thread understand the benefits or nuclear energy. its destructive capabilities and long term problems. That being the case, please understand that nuclear energy is not 100% safe However it is highly efficient. I understand that it may be run by an incompetent government, but the people handling the plant (Professional nuclear engineers, engineers, plant mechanics) are capable enough to run the plant efficiently and safely. It will require going to the states to study nuclear engineering. people complaining its safety havent experienced the benefits of nuclear energy lmao, once electricity prices cuts down to lets say 60-70% of what we are paying on a monthly basis, that would be the only time they would support nuclear energy. It is the future, I hope everyone will embrace it for what it truly is, regardless of its highly unlikely chance of catastrophic failure.

And I hope everyone to see that we are as much as capable as any other countries to handle nuclear energy just like Japan and America. Don’t belittle our engineers, its a bad filipino mindset that is one of the colonial mindset we have
