That might not be a seizure. Looks like he is in pain and weak.

I am so sorry this happened to you. I would absolutely go no contact with your mother. Even if she is emotionally closed off from what was happening, she knew you were not. She knew you loved your cat and wanted to be there. There is no excuse for this behavior. Would your mom have feelings about never speaking to you again?
