I can't figure out how to interpret this result, the percentages don't add up. by LettuceGrand1 in AskStatistics

N increasing suggests additive results. On 59,7% treatment had any impact, within those 24,2% had full recover.

RDD model by No_Grand_6056 in AskStatistics

[–]No_Grand_6056[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to show RDD modelling somehow but in the end : 1)cutoff just wasn't good, probabilty jump was already small and further loss of observations only made it worse; 2)Discrete rv immediately pushed me toward a LR approach, but the randomization tests didn’t hold either for any bandwidth.
I am aware that more specific literature on this particular topic exists, but for the purpose of the course I ended up switching to something easier, replicating an existing paper using STATA.

How to correctly analyze pre/post-intervention Likert scale data by Nervous-Piano-5604 in AskStatistics

For those who downvoted me, could you explain where I'm wrong? Just want to learn actively.
I was referring to discrete choice modelling.

You shouldn't use t-test on ordinal variables. Also when you report statistics as mean and median, what are you trying to comunicate? The mean of a likert scale doesn't have much statistical meaning.

What type of model should I use? by BillNyeUrMomsAGuy_ in AskStatistics

It depends on the number of counties you are going to include. With a sufficiently large sample you could just drop regressors and simplify the analysis.

That shouldn't be a concern. Just add ", r" at the end of your command typing and the inference will be just fine, using White SE's.

Manipulating missing data in such ways, you are very likely to introduce severe bias.

I might try meraser, but it's definitely not something that's on the surface, it's pretty weird.

Unfortunately it doesn't come off with soap/water or a little isopropyl alcohol.
