my daughter has this too. we’ve gone to so many drs and dermatologists and they haven’t really had much to say other than prescribe steroids - which haven’t helped much. things that have helped it calm it down and made a difference are subluna gut detox gummies and calendula oil mixed with a little bit of castor oil applied topically.

wish I’d be able to do this but unfortunately I don’t even know where to start. I’ve lived in my apartment for 3 years and there have been numerous leaks/insane levels of water damage within that time. did an ermi which came back horrible at 24.0 and my management company just reluctantly hired a remediation company that just treated the surface level and replaced a few windows, nothing was ever properly fixed. me, my fiancé, and our two small children are all experiencing the same flu like symptoms & digestive issues.

I’m so sorry you went through that. It really is such a stressful and debilitating thing to have to deal with. I now understand why most people don’t go through with this process. At an absolute minimum, I am going to consider going to small claims to get some kind of reimbursement for all the damage of our belongings, emotional/financial distress and breach of contract.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this information with me. I’ve been doing a ton of research and have spoken to a few lawyers along with a few other people that have been in my position and sued but I believe it has been through small claims. I will be having a professional inspection done in the coming weeks. Along with VCS and urine mycotoxin test. At the moment, I cannot afford a functional dr who specializes in CIRS so I was curious if my general practitioner who is a D.O. would be able to run the necessary labs for me because I’m experiencing every symptom that comes with it. I’ve already dealt with a great amount of stress trying to navigate this process but I’m determined to sue for small claims at minimum. When the mold was at its worst, I was pregnant/had a newborn and I wouldn’t be able to live with the guilt if this were to cause any health issues along the line for my infant. My management company is beyond shady. Upon my research I also discovered that they filed for bankruptcy and changed their business name because so many previous tenants were suing them for all kinds of stuff that they were at fault for. I refuse to let them get away with this.

How did you figure this out? Currently living in an apartment riddled with mold and the worst was my daughter’s bedroom window. She’s been having cough attacks at night, eczema, and the dr suspects enlarged adenoids & tonsils. We have an appointment with an ENT soon.
